SOA Architect/Developer in DataPower

Summary:

We are currently seeking to add a skilled SOA Architect/Developer in DataPower to make an immediate impact in this growing practice.

Skills Required:

At least three years of versatile experience with IBM Datapower SOA Appliances, as detailed below:

• Single-port routing of http(s) transactions on the front side of the device (aka multi-tenant pattern)
• Configuration and processes for routing across message queuing endpoints and crossing protocols and patterns from http to messaging protocols
• Implement architectures for dynamic retrieval of XML definition artifacts (wsdls, schemas, and custom XML configuration files)
• Naming conventions for services, policies, rules, URIs, and all other Datapower objects
• Integration of DataPower with WSRR and UDDI
• Integration with LDAP, Siteminder, XACML, and other credential stores and Policy Decision Points
• Implementation and interpretation of corporate and departmental security policies as they relate to Datapower object configuration
• Logging configuration and stylesheets (targets, categories, and full message logs) including policies on types of data and frequency of logging
• Determining relevance and practicality of XML standards, security patterns, and integration design patterns
• Mapping of non-XML messages using WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX)
• Organization and design of large scale trading partner integration
• Configuration of protocol handlers (http://, https://, mq, ftp, nfs, and others) with all options including user agents
• Complex policies with multiple rules, splits and joins (event-synchs), re-usable rules, and other advanced action types in DataPower
• Custom error rules to produce messages to the logs which streamline the error resolution process
• XSLT programming including the use for “dp:” extension functions and custom variables to enable logging of data at various points along the pipeline
• Configuration of transport level security objects including SSL, and http basic auth
• Configuration of field level security objects including digital signatures, SAML assertions, custom tokens, and field level encryption
• Custom Log Categories and Log Targets for triggering multiple types and parallel (pubsub) logs
• Custom XML managers for caching and retrieving configuration artifacts
• Custom routing routines to enable large scale usage of Datapower, multiple datapower devices, and multiple layers of Datapower services and rules
• Proficient in most (or all) Datapower configurations
• Experience with all firmware levels up to current 3,8 firmware

Education:

Bachelor’s in Computer Science

Professional certifications:

• Certification Test 378 – Datapower Firmware
