Ascendant Increases Ability to Service and Support Worldwide Clients
Ascendant Technology, a leading provider of IBM based technology solutions, is pleased to announce the opening of a Canadian Branch office. Ascendant Canada will extend Ascendant’s strong IBM partnership and provide capabilities across Canada in the IBM WebSphere™, Lotus™, DataPower™, Tivoli™ and Rational™ brands. In addition, Ascendant will be better positioned to assist existing multi-national clients doing business in Canada.
Leading Ascendant’s Canadian business is Shawn Deegan, a 12 year IT veteran. He will serve as the Vice President of Canadian Operations. Mr. Deegan has held positions in consulting, IT and regional management in his seven years with Ascendant, including most recently providing Executive management of Brazilian operations. Born in Montreal and now residing in Calgary, Alberta, Mr. Deegan will lead a strong and growing team of Canadian resident Ascendant consultants.
