Sam Fatigato is a twelve-year IBM veteran with experience across a range of disciplines including systems engineering, sales and business management. He helped to found Compete, a privately held consulting firm, in the mid 90’s to fill a need for implementation services around advanced Object Oriented technology developed at IBM. While Mr. Fatigato served as CEO, Compete doubled its revenues and client base each of three successive years before being acquired by Perficient in 2000. The acquisition of Compete introduced an IBM relationship to Perficient. Mr. Fatigato served as President and COO of Perficient, a NASDAQ company, for two years. Mr. Fatigato founded Ascendant Technology in 2003. Mr. Fatigato graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northwestern University in 1983.
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Sean Wyrick has spent his entire career focused on delivering enterprise IBM solutions for his customers. Prior to joining Ascendant Sean held a number of positions over his career in consulting including J2EE Developer, WebSphere Administrator, WebSphere Portal Architect, WebSphere Commerce Architect, Sr. Solution Architect, and Practice Manager. During his tenure at Ascendant he has served as the Vice President of eCommerce, the Vice President of Architecture and now CTO. As CTO Sean is responsible for leading our technical strategy, designing IT based solutions that drive business value for our customers. He enjoys coaching soccer, triathlons, and football.
Vice President, Finance: IBM
Matt Clark has over 12 years of operational and financial experience with a unique blend of both Main Street (public and private company CFO) and Wall Street (equity research analyst) experience. Prior to joining Ascendant, Mr. Clark served as Chief Financial Officer for a $50 million dollar e-business ticketing company. Mr. Clark also served as Chief Financial Officer of Perficient (NASDAQ: PRFT), which at the time was a leading provider of WebSphere and Internet services, and as CFO for Compete. Mr. Clark began his career at Bank of America as a financial analyst and computer programmer and worked at Salomon Brothers as an equity research analyst covering the computer services sector. Mr. Clark graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California at San Diego with a degree in Quantitative Economics and Decision Sciences.
Vice President, Software Services Sales: IBM
Rob Thomas has 14 years of enterprise software and services sales experience, which include leadership roles with IBM, Rational Software and several Silicon Valley start-up companies. He has successfully led sales teams with a strong focus on teamwork and client success. His balance of large and small company experience provides an effective mix for Ascendant Technology, which has been an Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Company two years running. At Rational Software, Rob held consulting, sales and sales management roles. After the IBM acquisition, he was responsible for leading and growing Rational’s Small and Medium Business for the Americas. Rob graduated from the University of Arizona with degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics.
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Stephen Morris has over 16 years of I.T. consulting experience focusing on leading large, complex technology transformation programs. Mr. Morris specializes in solutions that generate online revenue through cross-channel retail e-commerce strategy and implementation. Currently, Mr. Morris is responsible for global operations and service delivery at Ascendant Technology. Prior to joining Ascendant in 2009, Mr. Morris was part of Accenture’s retail industry team, specializing in e-commerce solutions. Mr. Morris has spent most of his career in the I.T. consulting industry in various delivery program management roles at Brulant, BearingPoint, Xpedior, Interlink Group and Ernst & Young. Mr. Morris graduated from Miami University in 1994 with a B.S. degree in System Analysis and also holds masters degree in Education from The University of Phoenix.
Atech Europe CEO
Craig Smith has been working within IBM’s Business Partner community for the last 18 years. In 2000, Craig co-founded Open Logic Solutions and subsequently led the company to be twice honored in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 as one of the UK’s fastest growing technology companies and to numerous IBM awards, including the prestigious “Distinguished Business Partner of the Year (2009) - Northern Europe.” In under 10 years Open Logic grew 50 fold to become renowned as IBM’s leading WebSphere Portal Business Partner within the UK.
Recently, following the merger of Ascendant and Open Logic, Craig took on the role of CEO for Atech Europe with the challenge to develop Atech Europe into IBM’s dominant software partner.
Chief Operating Officer Europe
Radoslav Didic has over 15 years of Information Technology consulting experience, focusing on complex projects based on proven IBM Software and Hardware technology. As one of the founders of Ascendant Technology Europe, Mr. Didic engaged his commercial, operational, financial and IT consulting skills in launching and developing Atech worldwide presence. Rade graduated from Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Belgrade Serbia in 1995 with Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineer degree in Systems Control and Automation.
Atech Brasil - Country Manager
Ricardo Rossi graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1991, and joined IBM in 1992. While at IBM, his career focused on selling Business Integration solutions to customers of all industries and by 2003, he had worked for 11 years in developing advanced software solutions within IT. In 2003 he shifted gears to focus on the SMB market in Brazil, where he has been able to work with and facilitate growth within the business partners and channel community. In 2004 he led the Latin America Sales for Business Integration, focusing on helping customers reach and exceed their objectives through better integration of their process and information. By 2005 he took over the Lotus Brand organization in Brazil, helping customers innovate with collaborative solutions, and since May 2010 Ricardo has been the country manager for Ascendant Brazil, aiming at triple growth for 2011. He is also post-graduated in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas.
VP of Latin America & Information Technology
Shawn is a seasoned IT Executive with over 12 years of experience in e-Business Technology Services. He has developed deep domain expertise in enterprise web, enterprise middleware, social and collaboration solutions as well as large global portal deployments. Over his career, he has led successful large enterprise web projects at multiple Fortune 500 customers and dozens of other organizations worldwide. He is a Canadian who returned home in 2009 after spending five years in the US, where he led the expansion of Ascendant’s business in the Pacific Southwest Region. Since returning to Canada, Shawn has been responsible for the global expansion of Ascendant in Latin America (Brazil) and Canada as well as the firm’s Information Technology department.
